Sex scandal couple Alvin and Vivian in hot soup again for insensitive posting



Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Joseph Kurup condemned the action of sex bloggers Alvin Tan Jye Yee and Vivian Lee for allegedly posting a 'Selamat Berbuka Puasa' greeting with a picture of themselves eating bak kut teh (pork)on Facebook.

Joseph the duo were incredibly insensitive to the feelings of Muslims and what they did could create unnecessary problems to the people of various races in the country.

The duo had described the dish as 'wangi, enak, menyelerakan' (fragrant, delicious, appetising), and also included a 'Halal' logo and a 'Selamat Berbuka Puasa' greeting.

"This is a multi-racial country and we must respect the religious beliefs as well as traditions and cultures of all Malaysians. At the same time we must be sensitive in religious issues," he told reporters after closing a National Integration workshop 'Bengkel Perkongsian pelbagai Generasi Malaysia' organised by the Department of National Unity and Integration at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang, near here, today.

Also present was Department of National Unity and Integration director-general Datuk Azman Amin Hassan.

The duo were also in hot soup earlier for posting their photographs and footages on their blog called 'Sumptuous Erotica' which went viral and caused uproar on both sides of the causeway.

Joseph however, did not comment on what kind of action would be taken against them. - Bernama, July 13, 2013.
