RON97 goes up 20 sen to RM2.90 per litre

The price of RON97 petrol will go up by 20 sen to RM2.90 per litre effective midnight according to the Petroleum Dealers Association of Malaysia (PDAM).

PDAM deputy president Datuk Zulkifli Mokti said the increase was due to the rise in the price of crude oil in the global market.

"But the price of RON95 and diesel remain unchanged," he said when contacted by Bernama tonight.

On April 2, the price of RON97, which was floated according to the prevailing oil market price, rose by 20 sen to RM2.70 per litre due to the crisis in the Middle East.

RON95 petrol remains at RM1.90 per litre.
