Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong has failed to dispose Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's RM10mil defamation suit against him.
High Court Justice John Louis O'Hara dismissed Dr Wee's application with costs after hearing submissions by parties on points of law.
He ordered Dr Wee to pay RM5,000 in costs to Anwar.
On April 18,2008 Anwar had filed the suit against Dr Wee for allegedly uttering defamatory words at a ceramah in the Machap by-election in 2007.
