Saiful says 'no' to oral sex, court told
Saiful and Anwar.
A forensic pathologist revealed in the Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim sodomy trial at the High Court today that Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan informed her that he had refused to perform oral sex when asked to do so.
Dr Razuin Rahimi, 37, testified that Saiful had also informed her that Anwar had fondled his "breasts".
Razuin, who was then attached to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL), said she interviewed Saiful at the HKL one-stop crisis centre on June 28, 2008.
"Based on what Saiful said, oral sex was attempted. However, it did not happen. According to Saiful, he was asked (to perform it) but he refused," said Razuin.
Anwar, 63, is charged with sodomising Mohd Saiful, 25, his former personal aide, at the Desa Damansara Condominiums in Bukit Damansara between 3.01pm and 4.30pm on June 26, 2008.
To a question by Solicitor-General II Datuk Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden, Razuin said Saiful told her that he was sodomised by Anwar at about 3.15pm on June 26, 2008 at Desa Damansara Condominium.
"He said he did not consent to it," said Razuin.
"Basically, he (Saiful) informed me that on June 26, 2008, he was called by Anwar, (and) even though, he was unwilling, it occurred."
Razuin said she asked Saiful about the intercourse and whether there was penetration and oral sex and if lubricants were used.
Mohd Yusof: Was there any penetration?
Razuin: Yes.
Mohd Yusof: Was there any ejaculation?
Razuin: Yes
Mohd Yusof :Was there any lubricant used?
Razuin: Yes
Another witness, Anwar’s chief of staff Ibrahim Yaakob, 59, said Saiful was not an employee but a temporary volunteer.
He said Saiful had emailed a letter of resignation dated June 27, 2008 to Anwar.
The hearing before High Court judge Datuk Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah continues tomorrow.
