Eskay dares Anwar to take oath

Businessman Datuk Shazryl Eskay Abdullah challenges Anwar to swear on the Quran after Friday prayers that he is not the man in the video.

Businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah is willing to take an oath (sumpah laknat) to prove that he is telling the truth about the sex video allegedly involving Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.

Announcing this at a press conference today, Eskay said he was ready to take the oath at a mosque in Sentul after Friday prayers tomorrow, and he invited Anwar to do so as well.

He said he would do so in anticipation of being charged in court the "next few weeks".

"We will have a series of press conferences after this. We will probably be charged in the next couple... perhaps next week," he said.
