Malaysia clinches two gold in diving
MALAYSIAN divers ruled the Jakabaring Aquatic Centre today, clinching gold in the two events contested.
Bryan Nickson Lomas and Yeoh Ken Nee easily won the men's 3m springboard synchro, posting a six-dive total of 392.31 points.
The silver was won by Nino Crog-Jaime Asok of the Philippines (342.99 points) while Indonesia’s Andriyan Andriyan-Ahmad S. Jamjami took the bronze with 332.40 points.
Leong Mun Yee-Traisy Vivien won the second gold of the day and third overall when they combined perfectly to retain the women's 10m platform synchro discipline. They recorded a combined total of 306.66 points.
It was Mun Yee’s second gold of the Games as she had, partnering Ng Yan Yee on Tuesday, won the 3-metre springboard synchro title.
