The 20-something male driver of this Perodua Kembara attempted to cross a narrow 50m-long wooden bridge at Kampung Tanjong Api near Kuantan at 3pm today. The bridge could not take the weight of the vehicle, and several wooden panels gave way. The driver was saved by nearby residents and was unhurt in the incident. As at 6pm today, the car was still stuck on the bridge.
