Cosplay killing: No indication girl was raped, post-mortem reveals




The body of Ng Yuk Tim was found stuffed into a green suitcase, clad in a T-shirt and underwear, but did not show any signs of sexual abuse.

Selangor deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Rahim Jaafar said a post-mortem conducted at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) showed that Ng died of severe head injuries due to three heavy blows to the head and there was no evidence to suggest she was raped.

He also said her body bore no post-mortem injuries from placing her into the suitcase.

"She was discovered in a fetal position," he said when contacted Wednesday.

"There were no signs that her joints were broken in order to fit her into the suitcase.

"We have recorded the statements of more than two individuals, including the victim's parents as well as the 23-year-old main suspect.

"The suspect revealed that the murder was not premeditated. However, we will investigate the matter thoroughly as it is too soon to come into such conclusion," he said.

It is believed the suspect stuffed Ng's body into the suitcase after killing her before dumping the body at the side of road along Jalan Kebun Nenas in Shah Alam.

DCP Abdul Rahim added the suspect was remanded until Oct 29 at the Petaling Jaya Magistrate's Court.

"We also seized several items from the suspect's home, including the dumbbell," he said.

Meanwhile, The family of Ng has identified and claimed the body of the 15-year-old.

The victim's mother, Sim Yee Leng, 35, was seen crying after identifying her daughter's body at the UMMC mortuary at 6.45pm.

‎Sim was unable to walk and had to he carried by her ex-husband and father of the victim, Ng Sai Kuan, 38, who returned from Johor earlier Wednesday.
The body of the 15-year-old will be sent to the Kwang Tong Funeral Parlour at Jalan Dewan Bahasa Pustaka in Kuala Lumpur and will be cremated on Friday.‎
