A 24-year-old gang robbery accused, who escaped from the Kuantan Courts Complex here on Thursday, was recaptured yesterday.

After four days on the run, police tracked down and nabbed Muhammad Juli Hadi, who was hiding at his sister's house in Balok, near here, about 4.30pm yesterday.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team from the district police station raided the house and found the suspect hiding there. Juli, from Kampung Jaya Baru in Bukit Bading, Terengganu, surrendered before being taken to the district police station lock-up here.

Pahang police chief Datuk Sharifuddin Ab Ghani said the suspect had been hiding in abandoned houses near Balok before approaching his sister.
