Nightmare over topless pictures

A photography session when she posed topless turned into a nightmare for an aspiring model when she was blackmailed by the photographer.

Winnie Ong (pic), 23, claimed the photographer had threatened to expose the pictures unless she sent him nude photographs of herself.

Ong recalled that she met the photographer a well-known 37-year-old freelancer through friends two years ago.

In October 2011, the man invited her for a private shooting in a hotel room where she posed in lingerie and night wear for a fee of RM600.

Ong, who could no longer stand the harassment, lodged a police report on Jan 29 last year, after which the man stopped harassing her.

Just when she thought her nightmare has ended, she bumped into the photographer at an event over the weekend.

And since, then she had been receiving e-mails from a “Grace Law”, who demanded for her nude photos, failing which her topless photographs would be exposed.

“I believe the same person is behind this because only he has taken such shots of me,” claimed Ong, who lodged a second police report against the photographer on Monday.

She also approached MCA Public Service and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong.

Chong believed Ong was not the only victim of the photographer.
