Missing salesman found dead in car boot


A salesman who went missing since two days ago was found dead in a car boot at Section 4 Bandar Baru Bangi near here today.

Kajang district police chief ACP Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab said the body of the 49-year-old man was found wrapped in a blanket in the car boot of a Toyota Unser which was abandoned in an undergrowth in the area.

The victim, who lived in Ipoh, Perak was reported missing by his wife at the Jelapang police station today after he failed to return home since two days ago, he said when contacted by Bernama.

Abdul Rashid believed the man had been slashed as there were injuries on the back and thigh.



Based on the condition of the body, the man died less than 48 hours ago, he added. The body had been sent to the Serdang Hospital for a post mortem.

Abdul Rashid said initial investigations also found that the Toyota Unser did not belong to the victim.

He urged those with information on the incident to contact the nearest police station to assist police investigation into the case.
