On the first alternative charge, he deceitfully and without the knowledge of the bank deposited a non-existent cheque via a blank BIMB cheque deposit form for the amount of RM95,000 and credited it into the account of Roslen Enterprise between Dec 5 and 26, 2008.

The charges under Section 409 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of two to 20 years with whipping and/or fine.

Sessions Judge Abu Bakar Katar sentenced him to 10 years and four strokes of the cane for each charge and ordered the jail terms to run concurrently beginning Monday.

Roslizam had claimed trial when he was first charged last March 4 with 56 counts of CBT involving RM1,925,500 that he allegedly credited into the account of Roslen Enterprise.
